Finding the Rabbit

These are the temple ruins. I can't tell whether they were Chinese or Japanese; this is up the mountain from the Japanese Crown Prince Chalet, but Japan isn't the only superpower to have left its mark on Taiwan. The fog made them surreal, and - probably owing to my own genetic ancestry - somewhat Stonehenge-like. This is really all there was of the ruins; walk much further and you found yourself looking down the side of a sheer cliff. Posted by Picasa
