Heidi was disturbed to see a homeless pack of dogs who appear to be living in the park. Since seeing the abandoned animals here, she's been trying to get some sort of fundraiser going in the States and in Taiwan, to work with the veterinarians and the pet shop owners to get these animals spayed and neutered. The vast majority of these dogs and cats used to be pets, many of them given up simply because they got too big or weren't cute anymore. Then they have puppies in the wild, like the black one here. It is a very common and sad story over here. And many animals don't have it nearly as good as this pack did.
