Rodger and I head out to the Philippines tomorrow. Our flight leaves Taipei around 4:30 pm and goes to Hong Kong before heading down to Manila. Given the holiday I don’t know how much will be open tomorrow, but on the way back I plan to see what I can of Hong Kong from the airport. Maybe buy something expensive and touristy if it suits me. Our plan for the Philippines is to go first to Miniloc Island, located in the west, and do some snorkeling, hiking and cave exploration there. Then on to Boracay, our original destination. Because the dates of our trip changed we won’t hook up with Rodger’s friends, but that’s okay with me. Six days in paradise (hopefully), then another week in Keelung, and then I’ll be back to endure winter with all of you - hooray!
