At first she didn't know how to spell "Heather," so she wrote it phonetically in Chinese: hei-se, which is the color black. Then we told her to write "bai hai-te," (white ocean) which is my Chinese name, so she put that in front. Hence, the characters up there read: bai hai-te hei-se. I'm a veritable rainbow!
